Trawling  through the elements to find the most technically and conceptually challenging element as the subject of this show.

 

Fire is dangerous, difficult to control (without getting arrested) and will melt our beloved plastic cameras if we get to HOT. 

 

I 'burned' the film by double exposing my rolls with an open fire and moving sparklers to create a series of abstract images. The skatepark print is shot with a multiple exposure and by burning some sunlight into the loose film fire-like light leaks enhance the image.
